Whether it’s a sturdy spring mattress for your bed, or a sheep shaped bookshelf, cardboard furniture knows no limits and is fast becoming a perfectly viable way of furnishing our homes. |
|
| |
One trend we’ve noticed lately is that an increasing number of people have opted to decorate their homes with cardboard furniture, a solution that is inexpensive, environmentally friendly and visually striking.
Some companies have specialized in producing just this type of original and eco-friendly furniture. Among these is Stange Design, the German company behind such successful items as Molly the Sheep or the Zuleyka bookshelf.

We’re pretty sure you have no idea what we’re talking about, so here’s a clue: “Oppo” means “cola” in Japanese, now do you get it? |
|
| |
The Japanese company has dared come out with several models of this mouse with a USB receiver shaped like an animal’s tail. As you can see in the images, this mouse is a perfect match for Apple’s laptops.
Although designed by Nendo, Oppopet is actually manufactured by a company called Elecom. Their aim is to turn your mouse into a sort of pet, that’s why each model has a different animal’s tail: fox, dog, dolphin, cat, pig, squirrel, chameleon and rabbit.

There’s no doubt we’re looking at the most discreet camera on the market. You can take the Clap mini camera anywhere, it barely takes up space and has very decent technical features. |

|
|
|
You can use this pocket camera to take photos, record video and even as a web cam. It also includes such innovative features as "Double Exposure" and "Over-Saturated Colors". |
|
| |
The first thing you’ll notice about this digital camera is its size: 38x60x18mm (about 1.48x2.3x0.7 inches). It’s really small. That’s why we were so amazed to find out all it has to offer.
Among other features, it offers you the chance to take photos with a Double Exposure, which basically consists of imprinting two different images on the same film. The effect is truly amazing, as are other effects such as "Tunnel Effect" and "Over-Saturated Colors".
The Minimo-X camera weighs about 30 grams (1 oz) and has 3.2 megapixels.

Social networks are becoming increasingly popular. Now you can keep track of what’s going on with Rymble. This singular object created by Symplio makes sounds and movements to keep you abreast of what’s happening in your social network. |
|
| |
This may seem a bit confusing at first, but once you watch the promotional video (see link below) you’ll understand. Rymble is a round object that keeps you updated on what’s happening on Facebook (and soon also on Twitter): requests, messages, "Likes" on your posts, etc.
The Rymble rotates on its own axis, displaying different icons, flashing lights and making different sounds depending on how relevant the messages are.

These cute sheep have shelves you can use to store books, records, films... You’ll be glad you bought them the next time you need to move house. |
|
| |
Don’t tell me you didn’t fall in love with them the moment you saw them. The company that designed them calls the two big sheep Molly and Teeny (white) and the little ones Wollys. Together, they make up a family of sheep that’s here to make life easier for humans.
The big sheep measure 74x64x102cm / 29x25x40inches, just to give you an idea of how much stuff you can store in their compartments.

I’ll bet it took you a while to realize that what you’re looking at is actually a tent. This tent looks so much like the legendary Volkswagen Camper Van that it really is hard to tell the difference. |
|
| |
The original camper van was manufactured in 1965 and it has since become a symbol of the golden age of the hippie movement, rock-and-roll, and outdoor music festivals.
This tent pays homage to the legendary Volkswagen Camper Van. It’s made for four people, but you can probably squeeze a fifth person in if you snuggle up.
When spring time rolls around, posters announcing musical festivals seem to pop up everywhere, so if you’ve bought a few tickets, don’t pass up your chance to camp in your very own Volkswagen Camper, you’ll have an unforgettable experience you’re sure to want to share with as many people as possible.
Plus, you can choose from several colors, so you can take a different tent to each festival if you want (you know it’s a faux pas to wear the same outfit twice).

We’ve seen all sorts of speakers, but we had yet to see a dancing Hello Kitty speaker. |
|
Dance with her! |
|
|
| |
Connect your music player to this very special speaker and enjoy watching the world’s most conceited cat bob her head up and down. It has a 3,5mm Jack connector, so it’s compatible with any MP3 player, mobile phone, smartphone, iPod, iPhone or whatever music player you like.
Once you plug it in, all you have to do is press one of its paws, where the On/Off switch is located, and the music will start to play, which means Hello Kitty will start moving her head.
To see Hello Kitty in action, just watch on the video below.
